用“票房惨败”四个字形容姜文的《太阳照常升起》应该不算过。在电影院里和三个人一起欣赏影片这对我来说也还是头一遭。
从出征威尼斯前的盛大壮行会，到北京的豪华首映礼，从各大网站娱乐频道的专栏头条，到各大报刊杂志的显要位置，这次姜文一点也不低调，甚至张扬得有点老谋子的味道了。
当然，姜文这一回不高调都不行了。他紧张啊，投资八千万人民币的《太阳》，拍摄期间多次出现资金危机，自己砸了钱不算，香港英皇老板杨受成也临时出了钱，还跟弟弟姜武借了钱，如果影片没票房，他拿什么去还情还钱？怪不得电影首映礼时，姜文跑到放映间亲自调音效和焦距，接受记者采访时，也一改往日的霸气和孤傲，甚至还为不少时尚杂志担当起“封面男郎”。看来，姜文这次为《太阳》真的牺牲了不少。
对姜文其实是有情结的，之前看《阳光灿烂的日子》时，就被感动得一塌糊涂。这次对《太阳》，仍然抱着相当大的期待。影片的开头，一双性感女人的脚，云雾笼罩的小村庄，一个满脸雀斑的美丽女人……一幅幅宛若静态的画面把我们的情绪一下子带到了那个特定的情境中。当看到房祖名在小路上不断奔跑的模样时，我想起了《阳光灿烂的日子》中那个总在屋顶上晃悠的马小军。
影片继续，悬念一个接着一个。周韵（房祖名的妈）疯了，老是做一些奇怪的事情；周韵突然消失了，只有一双鞋和衣服漂在河上；陈冲暗恋黄秋生，为“解救”他自愿报名查找流氓；黄秋生是无辜的，却自己吊死在了水塔上面；姜文和妻子孔维被下放到小村庄，却发现房祖名和自己的妻子有染……这不是一部直线型的电影，整个故事被姜文刻意分解成了几个方块。姜文卖了个关子，把开头剪到了最后，两个女人骑着骆驼到沙漠里寻找各自的梦。那一刻，影片中的两条线才叠合在一起。为了这个悬念，姜文算是费尽了心机。只可惜，这样的设置并不讨巧，只让人觉得有种故弄玄虚的味道。
值得一提的是陈冲扮演的林大夫。这是个戏剧性很强的人物。在那个特殊的年代，外界的压抑和内心的张扬让她处于一个矛盾的焦点。她爱着黄秋生，果敢而大胆。但不知道陈冲是不是在国外待的时间太长了，从她的出场到谢幕，每一个动作、每一句话，甚至每一个眼神都带着浓厚的好莱坞味。她在医院向黄秋生表白的那一段简直就是国外戏剧的翻版，夸张、毫不掩饰地忸怩，怎么也让人难以联想到她所处的年代是在上个世纪70年代的中国。
看得出来，姜文对《太阳》是很努力的。从头到尾，精雕细啄的画面都始终弥漫着一股淡淡的姜文味。很多人都说《太阳》看不懂。其实，我倒觉得它很简单。就像姜文自己说的，不要刻意去寻找画面的深意，怎么舒服怎么看，跟着电影乐就是了。
看完影片，能记住一些零星的片段，但总有一点空落的感觉，不像《阳光》那样让人很长一段时间都难以释怀。后来想了一下，《太阳》可能是太玩技巧了，里面少了根主心骨，没魂，缺少让人感动的东西。
十天前，《太阳》内地发行方保利博纳总裁于东在接受媒体采访时对票房前景还信心十足，表示影片票房过亿没问题。姜文也豪气冲天地说要让国庆档成为《太阳》的主场。而首映三天六百万的票房不仅让他们的牛气大打折扣，现在电影院的极度冷清更是让《太阳》处于一个十分尴尬的境地。看来，现在的观众真的理性了不少，就算是姜文的吆喝，货不行，照样不买单。
